Funeral services were held at the Pitcher funeral home at 2:30 Saturday by Rev. T.R. Vaughan, minister of the Church of Christ of Mountain View and another service, was held in the Mountain View church, and interment was made in the Mountain View cemetery. She was 65 years, 10 months and 2 days old.Mrs. Smith was born in San Jacinto county, Texas. She was married to J.A. Smith March 16, 1872. The family has lived in the Carnegie and Mountain View communities for the past twenty-seven years.Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Edd Smith, who lived with his mother, and her daughters, Mrs. Caroline Calhoun, of near Colony, Mrs. Lydia Gaskill of Sedan and Mrs. Delia Burgess of Chattanooga.
