bullet  General Notes:

[Berry and Allied Families.FTW]

George W. Gross was the nephew of Adam and Edna Gross who bought the Ber ry Brothers farm in 1884. This family came from St. Joseph County, Michig an - perhaps from Three Rivers. Adam Gross was also the owner of the Rect or Hotel in Garden City. George was a railroad engineer and at one time l ived in Parsons, Kansas and Collinsville, Illinois.

The Burdette family may have moved to California - the San Francisco are a. The McCartor family seems to have left Cass County but where they we nt is not known.

During the 1930's the father of Frank Hogge moved to Kane, Illinois. The re he told Wiley E. Berry that Frank and Sybil had moved to Detroit, Michi gan and had two daughters.
