My grandmother's grandfather Micajah L. Nordyke (b. 1833) married Ann Elizabeth Henry in 1853 of Clinton County, Ohio. His place of birth is thought to be Lost Creek, Jefferson County of Ohio and he went missing (never returned) from a trip to Alton in Madison Co., Illinois. No explanation why he left or his destination. As he had not returned by 1875, his spouse, to clear legal affairs, had to get a divorce. He later in 1878 married Adam Osborn. As Adam was a Quaker, she and her children got entered into Quaker documents and took to the faith. Surety: 3.
