THIS DEED, between John Hayden unmarried man, of Spencer County in the Sta te of Indiana, of the first part, and Samantha Barnett, of New Madrid Coun ty in the State of Missouri, of the second part.

WITNESSETH: that the said party of the first part, in consideration of t he sum of One Dollar ($1.00), the receipt of which is hereby acknowledge d, does hereby sell, grant and convey to the party of the second part, h er heirs and assigns, the following described property, viz:

All of the grantors undivided interest in the coal and mineral rights a nd rights of way and right of mining in and under all of the lands in t he County of Hancock, in the State of Kentucky, which was owned by Phine as Hayden, late of Hancock County in the State of Kentucky, and by him dee ded to Elizabeth Hayden on the 21st day of February, 1900, by deed which n ow appears of record in Deed Book No. 30, at page 240 of the deed recor ds of Hancock County, Kentucky, containing in all two hundred and twenty-s ix acres (226) more or less.

It is the intention of the grantor in the execution of this deed to conv ey to and vest in the grantee any right or title he may have acquired or h eld in such mining rights, coal, right of way and right of mining in and u nder any land owned by the said Phineas Hayden which he may have acquir ed by inheritance as son of the said Phineas Hayden on in any other maner.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, with all the appurtenances thereon, to the s econd party, her heirs and assigns forever, with covenant of General Warra nty.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, witness my signature this 30th day of December 1931.
