• Estate: will of William Berry, 26 Feb 1684/85, , Talbot, Maryland, USA. 3 4 Berry, William,Talbot Co.,26th Feb., 1685; 15th Aug., 1691. 23rd Apr., 1711.
To son William and hrs., 400 A., "New Design" in Pennsylvania, where he now lives.
To son James and hrs., plantation on Patuxent R. at Fishing Creek, and 50 A., part of East Fishing Creek, excepting Quaker Meeting House and graveyard. Should sd. son James not desire land devised afsd., he is devised in lieu 400 A., "Poplar Neck" on Grt. Choptanke R., or 250 A., part of "Berry's Range" at Jones Creek; also personalty at discretion of his mother.
To dau. Rebecca (Berry), personalty.
To son Thomas and hrs., 600 A., dwelling plantation, "Beaver Neck," at decease of his mother. If she die before he attain 20 yrs. trustees to manage same and personalty.
To son-in-law Sam'll Preston, personalty at discretion of his mother.
To child. afsd., viz., William, James and Rebecca Berry and Sam'll Preston, legacies as per will of their grandfather, Richard Preston.
To Quaker Church, personalty for rebuilding church.
