The Lebanon Enterprise - Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky - Thursday, April 8, 1976 Edgar Berry Edgar Lee Berry, 69, died at 9 p.m. Friday, April 2, 1976, at the Georgetown Manor Nursing Home in Louisville. He was a member of the Gravel Switch Methodist Church and the T.W. Wash Masonic Lodge. Mr. Berry, who made his home at Gravel Switch, is a son the late Joe and Mattie Flora Chambers Berry. He is survived by his step-father, Jim Crow of Parksville, Kentucky; two daughters, Mrs. Cleadeous Susi of Dansbury, Connecticut, Mrs. Cynthia Orberson of Louisville; one son, James C. Berry of Louisville; four half-sisters, Mrs. Flossie Terhune, Mrs. Viola Pittman and Mrs. Louis Randolf, all of Danville, Mrs. Margaret Coulter of Louisville and six grandchildren. The funeral was conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Gravel Switch Methodist Church by Rev. Wilber Cobb assisted by Rev. W. A. Clutts with burial in the Rollertown Cemetery. Bosley Funeral Home, where a Masonic service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Carl Lanham, Gene Lanham, Garnett Lanham, Ed Isaacs, Carl Roller and Billy Reynolds. ----------------------------------------------------------- The Advocate Messenger - Danville, Kentucky Edgar Berry GRAVEL SWITCH (Spl) - Services for Edgar Lee Berry, 69, of Louisville, a native of Boyle County and relative of several Danville residents, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Gravel Switch with burial in Gravel Switch Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon. Mr. Berry, who died Friday in Louisville after a long illness, was a retired farmer and also formerly worked for the state. He was a Mason and member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his step-father, J.D. Crowe, and three sisters, Flossie Terhune, Mrs. Carroll Pittman and Mrs. John Randolph, all of Danville. Other survivors include a son, James C. Berry of Louisville, two daughters, Cynthia Orberson of Louisville and Mrs. Pete Susie of Danbury, Conn., and another sister, Mrs. Margaret Coulter of Louisville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trixie Carico (sic Carrico) Berry and his mother, Flora Crowe.
