Muller Cemetery: Local Lore: "Poor old William Poer! He died in the wro ng part of the country at the wrong time of year. The kindly local peop le commenced hauling his body cross-country headed towards the Drewsey Cem etery. But Alas! Poor old William Poer! It was his fate that his demise w as during a hot mid-summer. It was his fate that these very conditions hea ted his deceased body to an odiferous degree. It was his fate that the kin dly procession could no longer stand the deceased William Poer's mid-summ er odor. Instead of continuing on to Drewsey, he was quickly added to t he Muller family cemetery, resting there among strangers evermore. Poor o ld William Poer!" ²
