Dear Cousin

Enclosed find copy of your Grandfathers will sent me by Cousin Himarr I suppose it is on record in clerks office all well as ever your friend.

In the name of god aman I ambrose Bush of the County of Clark and State of Kentucky being in perfect health for which I do thank god, Tho Calling to mind the uncertanty of human Life and being desiring to despose in all such worldly Estate as it hath pleased god to bless me such. I do give and bequeath the same in manner and form as follows to wit:

Item the first I desire that all my just debts and final expenses first be paid

Item the 2nd I have already advanced to my sone James Bush Two hundred dollars

Item the 3rd I have advanced to my Sone Lemmontation Bush Decd his full share

Item the 4th I have already advanced to my Sone Louallen Bush his full share

Item the 5th I have already advanced to my Daughter Lewey Elliott Decd her full share

Item the 6th I have already given to my Sone Jeremiah Bush one Negro boy named Thomas at four hundred dollars

Item the 7th I have already given to my Sone Colby Bush one negro girl named Betrsy at three hundred dollars

Item the 8th I have already advanced to my Son Harvey Bush his full Share without their should be a Surplus of mountain land after my Son Leuallen Bush gets three Tousand acres wich he have my bond for a title in the Event this Surplus if any is to belong to my Son Harvey Bushs wife

Item the 9th I have already given my Daughter Joycey Martin one Negro Boy Lewis at four hundred dollars

Item the 10th I have already advanced to my Son Thomas G. Bush one hundred and forty dollars, it being the balance he was to have paid me for - the black woman Sary

Item 11 I have already advanced to my Sone William Bush one Negro boy named Charles at Two hundred dollars and one hundred dollars in Cash

Item the 12th I have already advanced to my Son Pleasant Bush one Negro boy named Dennis at four hundred dollars

Item the 13th I have already advanced to my Daughter Jane Quisenberry one Negro girl named Silvey at Three hundred and fifty dollars

Item the 14th I have already advanced to my Daughter Juley Beary one Negro girl named Margret at four hundred dollars

Item the 15th I then will that my land to be sold at publich auction on a term of one and Two years. Creadit one half from the purchase money to be paid in Twelve Months and the balance in Two years

Item the 16th My Negros to be sold at Pubiche sale for case a mongst my Children or Such of them as have not got their full share

Item the 17th My Stock household furniture farming utensals to be desposed of in any way my Children thinks best or amongst themselves or that pourtion of them that I have not given them their full Share

Item the 18 And when my land and negroes Stock household and furniture and farming utensils are all sold I will that ? the money arrising from Said sale to be divided among my Children or their children. If any of them should be dead so as to make them all Equal commencing at the one that have received the smallest advance and so on until all made as above named Excepet the Four before named Lemmontation Bush Decd Luallen Bush and Lucy Ellott Decd and Harvey Bush in no Event they are not to receive any more of my Estate and Lastly I do Constitutue and appoint my son Jeremiah Bush and Son in Law Stephen Quisenbarry Executors to this my last Will and testament revoking all former wills or testimenty made by me as witness my hand this ? 8th day of August 1857.

If their should not be Surples land to the amount of Four hundred dollars after surveying off three thousand Acres to Luallend Bush, Harvey' wife is to be made up that amount out of my other Estate as witness my hand the above date done in the presance of us.
