Della Taylor Martin, 90, of Purcell Drive, Richmond, passed away Monday, F ebruary 13, 2006, in her home following a short illness. She was born Apr il 27, 1915, in Equality, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Jam es and Minnie Butts Taylor. She was a homemaker and attended the Raven na Nazarene Church. She had lived in Madison County most of her live.

Della was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Martin, one daughter, Car ol Joyce Martin and one grandchild and one great grandchild.

She is survived by: two daughters, Claudia J. Clark (Ronald) and Georgin ia Phylip Burnell (Barry), both of Madison County; two sons, Chalmer P. Ma rtin (Helen) and Blaine Taylor Martin (Judy), both of Madison County; o ne sister; Alene Warren of Ind.; one brother, Hubert Taylor of Ind.; 10 gr andchildren; three step grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one gre at great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17, 2006, at 1 p.m. at t he Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Warren Toler, the Re v. Bob Mills and the Rev. Brian Daniels. Burial will be in the Richmond C emetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Thursday at the Warr en F. Toler Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be William Ray Clark, Robert Stafford, III, James Curt is Hisle, Jr., Bobby Willoughby, Lynn Stafford and Phillip David Martin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Hisle, Anthony Martin, Richard Cheatha m, William White, Jay Palmer, Phillip Allen Palmer, Brent Johnson and Bar ry Burnell. ²

Della married Ben Martin about 1936 in Wayland, Floyd Co., KY.² (Ben Martin was born on 21 Mar 1915 in Wayland, Floyd Co., KY,² died on 10 Jul 1973 in , Madison, Kentucky, USA ² and was buried in Richmond Cemetery In Madison Co., KY ².)
