Pauline Berry of Columbia died Tuesday, March 24, 1992, at her home. She
was 97. Mrs. Berry was a member of the Red Top Christian Church in
Hallsville. "She was a very sweet Christian woman," said Nadine Owen, who
took care of Mrs. Berry for the past five years. "She was social." Mrs.
Berry was born July 8(paper states August 8), 1894, in Moberly to Peter
and Rosa Stauterman. On March 29, 1916, she married Benjamin A. Berry in
Moberly. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Memorial
Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services, conducted by the Revs.
Michael Brown and Stanley Owen, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial
Funeral Home. Mrs Berry is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Coldsnow of
Kansas City; a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Berry; a sister, Ethel Abbott of
Rochester, NY; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her
husband and one son, Carl W. Berry died earlier. ¹
